How we handle your data
We use the personal data you send us via the form or by e-mail only to handle your enquiry. We do not sell it to anyone and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes the data
The data controller is Martin Straka, Company ID (IČO) 07078714, workshop Vítějeves 32, 569 06, Svitavy District, Czech Republic. Contact: kovostraka@gmail.com, phone +420 604 921 161.
What data we process
The data you enter in the enquiry form or send us by e-mail: name, company name, e-mail, phone number and the content of your enquiry (part description, quantity, required date, note and, where applicable, drawings).
Why and on what legal basis
We need the data to reply to you, prepare a quote and, where applicable, conclude and perform a contract. The legal basis is steps prior to entering into a contract and its performance under Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If an enquiry leads to an order, we also keep records to meet our obligations under accounting and tax law (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
How long we keep the data
If an enquiry does not lead to an order, we delete the data no later than one year after our last contact. If we carry out the order, we keep the data for the duration of our cooperation and keep records for as long as accounting and tax law requires (usually 10 years).
Who else has access to the data
We do not pass the data on to other companies for their own purposes. Technically, only the providers of services we use to run the website and communicate may come into contact with it (Cloudflare for website hosting, Web3Forms for delivering the form to our e-mail Gmail for our inbox and hCaptcha for protecting the form against spam). They process the data only on our instructions.
Cookies and map
The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The map in the Contact section is provided by Google Maps and only loads after you click on it. Only then does your browser connect to Google's servers; Google follows itsown privacy policy. When you get near the enquiry form, the hCaptcha spam protection loads and may use technical cookies to check that you are not a robot (hCaptcha privacy policy).
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing. Just write to us atkovostraka@gmail.com. If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
